A frightening place that I remember from my childhood was an abandoned house. It was when i lived in Shelton that i first discovered this house, every day i went to school i passed it. It was an old rundown place, covered in ivy and thorn bushes. One day Me and my friend Michael found out that they were going to bulldoze the house, so we decided that we had to take a peek inside before it was demolished. So the next day we told Jesse, Sam, and Logan our plan about going inside the house.
They were all down to do it except Sam, he was to scared, but we eventually convinced him to come with. It was the 5 of us on a Saturday night in November, so it had gotten dark around 6:15, and it was about 7:00 at this time. At night you could hardly see the house, as it was covered by brush and surrounded by trees. We came to the front door, it was unlocked, so we just walked in. We were all a little scared, ther had been many stories about ghosts and crimes here. We were looking around the downstairs and I decided to look upstairs. The stairs squeaked beneath my weight, I stopped for a moment, thinking i had heard something upstairs. I waited for a moment in absolute silence, the i heard a scuttling noise and something dropped. I was outta that house in a flash.

The biggest hero in my life is most definately my brother. He's been my real father for most of my life. He teaches me lessons that apply to my life everyday. I can learn from his mistakes, as he is 5 years older than I. He's not very successful, but he's got to be the most wise person i know. Whenever i am in trouble or could get in trouble there's my brother. He just got a job at subway, and i see him a lot less lately, even less now that he has a job.
In a year i'm going to be a single child kind of, since he's going to move out. I can do anything with my brother, and now that im older and more mature we never argue, and I can go places with him and he doesn't consider me to be a tag-along. We are the definition of brothers. As i mature i see myself growing up to be him, which I am proud of. DJ's been my mentor for as long as i can remember. He taught me right from wrong.
